Florence Area Coordinating Council (FACC)

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Florence Area Coordinating Council (FACC) is to promote the most effective planning and delivery of human services in Western Lane County, which includes Florence, Dunes City, Mapleton, Deadwood, Swisshome, Westlake and the surrounding areas.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. The meeting place is upstairs at the Siuslaw Valley Fire and Rescue, 2625 Hwy 101, Florence, Oregon.

September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month

Help shape health reform in Oregon!

The Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Health Policy Board are hosting six community meetings in September 2010 across the state to obtain public input on the board’s draft Comprehensive Plan for Health Reform, including the Health Insurance Exchange, a central marketplace for health insurance.

Board members and staff will present progress on the plan and decision points, and will listen to your comments, concerns and recommendations.
